The history of Autism Support Cayman

The group started in April 2013 by Camele Burke whose son, Jeremy, was diagnosed in 1998 with autism and out of her journey she had a desire to help other parents dealing with children also diagnosed with autism.

In September 2013, she decided to partner with the teachers at the Lighthouse School who shared her passion and wanted to support these parents in any way possible.

Our Mission

The mission of Autism Support Cayman is to reach out to persons caring for children who have been diagnosed with autism and provide them with emotional support and information to assist them on their journey to helping these special persons to reach their highest potential.
